Research Directions
Study of the biological basis of human functional reserves, individual-typological characteristics of activity regulation during physical and cognitive loads, and features of neuro-visceral integration in health, under stress, and in elite sports.
Research Tasks
The objectives of the laboratory are to study the biological basis of human functional reserves, individual-typological characteristics and universal psychophysiological mechanisms of activity regulation, including network processes, during physical and cognitive loads, as well as neuro-visceral integration in health and under stress, including in elite sports.
Study of the dynamics of functional status and energy supply of the body under stress factors of physical and cognitive nature, taking into account sex, age, and level of physical activity. Development of new approaches to the prediction and prevention of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases based on the analysis of psychotypes and integrative interactions between the components of the oxygen transport system.
Study of psychophysiological resistance to multisensory interference during physical and cognitive loads, taking into account personality traits, temperament, anxiety, motivation, and features of cognitive-behavioral adaptation.
Search for ways to preserve and enhance human physical and cognitive performance under conditions of stress and maladaptation using Biofeedback and Mindfulness technologies.
Study of the effectiveness of modern information technologies (digital cognitive training tools) and adaptive physical activity programs in K-12 and higher education as means of specifically improving cognitive functions, optimizing psychophysiological well-being, and enhancing mental and physical performance.
